Unusual relaxation with 'brain stimulation'... have a real effect

The amount of precipitation from last winter to this spring is only three-quarters of the normal year, indicating that the drought is intensifying nationwide.

In particular, the inland areas of Yeongdong received less than half of the average annual rainfall, resulting in a more severe drought than other areas.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, dry high pressure zones are frequently formed around inland regions of China, and as they move to Korea, they block the approach of low pressure in the south and dry weather continues.

As a result, the precipitation in Gyeonggi and Chungcheong provinces in Seoul and Chungcheong Province is about 70% of the average year, and especially in Gangneung, where the rainfall is only 28% compared to the average year.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that April precipitation will be similar to normal in April, which will alleviate some of the drought in the southern region, but dry weather will continue in the central region, and urged people to pay attention to forest fires and water management.
