Incontinence causes and treatment

Urinary incontinence is a phenomenon in which urine is unknowingly leaked and soaked underwear regardless of one's will, which can cause social or hygienic problems.

Urinary incontinence is more frequent in women than in men, and 40% of women in Korea experience urinary incontinence (only in statistical figures).

- Urinary incontinence The three main types

1. The first is abdominal incontinence.

If abdominal pressure increases due to a certain cause, it causes urine to come out slightly, which is a problematic condition in the urea sphincter that locks urine due to the urine storage disorder.

a. Symptoms

It can be divided into three stages.

Step 1: When coughing, sneezing, or laughing Step 2: When carrying heavy objects or running Step 3: When standing, pee unconsciously.

b. Cause

* After childbirth, muscles become weakens

* Damage to nerves or fascia

* Adhesion or scarring

* When the baby is big or has long labor pains during childbirth

* In case of stage 3 or 4 incision at birth

* Long standing job

* Obesity

* People who don't move too much

* Structural problems-Naturally weak connective tissue or other incorrect surgery

* Central nervous system peripheral nervous system problem, paraplegia

* Psychological problems-Including behavioral disorders, mental problems, severe shock or a lot of surprises can occur.

* Sex problems including sexual assault

c. Treatment

Muscle training of sphincter

Exercise to promote blood circulation in the pelvis.

2. Urgent incontinence

It is a problem of urine discharge function due to abnormalities in the smooth muscle of the bladder wall. I don't have any urethral sphincter problems, but my bladder is sensitive and I can't stop urinating. This has nothing to do with jumping.

a. Cause

* Stressful, sleepless, and environmental conditions.

* Worrying people are likely to develop.

* It may occur if the balance of life is broken.

* Unstable bladder and inflamed bladder

* Due to changes in urinary tract location

* Neurological disorders (such as Alzheimer's dementia, diabetes, alcoholism, Parkinson's disease, brain tumor, etc.) * Psychological disorders or drug side effects

b. Treatment

Respiratory bladder relaxation, urine volume check, and urinary desire are considered differently and the bladder inflammation - cranberry juice is good (10ml dose 3 times a day)

3. Combined urinary incontinence combined with the two above

Especially in women with menopause, and two appear in combination.

a. Cause

If sphincter muscle malfunction and elderly people can't lock it, urine comes out and the pelvic muscles are weak.

b. Symptoms

When you hear running water, when the air turns hot or cold, when you're scared because there's no toilet around, when you get home and plug it in, when you change your posture, when you ride a bike, you pee.

c. Treatment

* Relaxed by breathing

* How to calm the bladder

* bladder training

- You should make a habit of drinking water and increase the volume of your bladder volume.

- You pee 10 minutes later, and then you pee again. psychological stability

- In order to prevent residual urine, the bladder is exposed at a fixed time interval.
- If you feel like you need to pee, you can't go right away whenever.

You have to wait for your bladder to fill up, such as holding it in while counting to 50 or letting it forget while watching a fun drama.

Changing body after menopause is a task to take with aging. I think it is more important to take it more wisely and prevent it.

If you don't want to experience early incontinence even though you're not old enough, you should be careful about going to the fitness center to get fit right after childbirth, and you should refrain from doing trufflin, jogging, jump rope, aerobics and so on. Also, I will be careful not to carry heavy luggage or carry around, so I urge you to remember to do housework and childcare for the happiness of your wise husband and family.
