Let's improve health and lose weight with chocolate!

When I am stressed or depressed, I turn to 'sweet chocolate'. Before you know it, you will be able to see a hand reaching out towards the chocolate. In the past, eating chocolate made you fat! stop eating! Recently, health benefits and ingredients have been known.

So today we are going to learn about chocolate.

Chocolate contains good ingredients such as phenylethylamine, oleic acid, polyphenols, caffeine & theobromine.

1. Phenylethylamine

100g of chocolate contains about 50~100mg of phenylethylamine. Phenylethylamine has the property of absorbing carbon dioxide, and it is a substance secreted when we feel love and makes us feel good.

2. Oleic

Acid Oleic acid is a type of unsaturated fatty acid that reduces the level of bad cholesterol (LDL) and raises the level of good cholesterol (HDL) to keep the heart healthy.

Cocoa butter, the main ingredient in chocolate, contains about 35% oleic acid.

3. Polyphenol

Cocoa, the main ingredient of chocolate, contains abundant amounts of 'catechin', one of the polyphenol components. Catechin helps to keep blood vessels healthy by releasing cholesterol and triglycerides accumulated in the blood vessels.

In addition, 'procyanidin', one of the polyphenol components in chocolate, is known to have a cancer-preventing effect by suppressing the onset of cancer.

4. Caffeine & Theobromine

Caffeine stimulates brain activity, relieves stress or fatigue, increases concentration, and helps to remove waste products from the body as a diuretic.

Theobromine dilates blood vessels, promotes heartbeat, relaxes muscles, and stimulates the cerebral cortex to increase thinking.

Eating one or two slices of dark chocolate containing 70% or more cacao before meals stimulates the hormone that makes you feel full, which helps reduce the amount of food you eat.

However, since it contains a certain amount of fat, it is better to limit it to less than 30g and 150kcal per day.
